凤凰卫视:中国GDP因非典少增O.5％ 凤凰卫视转引香港文汇报关于中银国际发表研究报告指出,受到SARS影响,中国今年经济增长有机会减少0.5至1个百分点。该行又指出,国务院总理温家宝将SARS爆发的经济代价与1998年水灾相提并论。足见当局认为SARS负面影响巨大。中国于98年水灾中的直接经济损失达1600亿元人民币,相当于2002年GDP的1.6％。另据分析人员说,由于非典型肺炎(SARS)的进一步扩散,中国旅游业将面临二千多亿元人民币的损失。

This shows that the authorities think the negative impact of SARS is huge. China’s direct economic losses in the floods hit 98 billion yuan in 1998, equivalent to 1.6% of GDP in 2002. According to analysts, China’s tourism industry will face a loss of more than 200 billion yuan due to the further spread of atypical pneumonia (SARS).
