苍鑫的艺术创作涵括行为、影像、雕塑、装置、绘画、陶瓷等几乎所有艺术表现的面向。每一个展览都只是呈现了其创作的一个面向或者一个面向中的一个片段——其作品整体呈现出的丰富、多元、变化和谱系化延展的样貌,至今还无法同时在一个空间内得以全部地呈现:其作品所表达的强烈的视觉存在,大多无法得到经验事实的支持。所以对苍鑫创作的理解无法建立单独作品的经验判断,而是基于其全体观念的分析判断。
