某些型别的乳头瘤病毒 (HPV)是肛生殖道癌及恶性疾病的主要病因 ,特别是子宫颈癌。虽然 HPV免疫原性差 ,但已证实免疫系统能控制 HPV的扩散及所致疾病的进展 ,癌细胞不断表达的病毒致癌蛋白 E6、E7是淋巴细胞攻击靶子。几种治疗性疫苗在实验动物中已成功触发细胞介导的免疫应答 ,人的 期临床试验也取得相似效果。
Some types of papillomavirus (HPV) are major causes of anal and sexual cancers and malignant diseases, especially cervical cancer. Although HPV has poor immunogenicity, it has been demonstrated that the immune system can control the spread of HPV and the progress of the disease. The viral oncoproteins E6 and E7, which are constantly expressed by cancer cells, are target of lymphocyte attack. Several therapeutic vaccines have successfully triggered cell-mediated immune responses in experimental animals, and human clinical trials have yielded similar results.
