德国19世纪印象主义作家奥托·尤里乌斯·比尔鲍姆的长篇小说《褒国的美女》改编自中国长篇白话历史演义小说《东周列国志》中《幽王烽火戏诸侯》的故事。改编的小说没有采用传统小说的模式,利用情节和环境来刻画人物性格,而是采用了戏剧语言的特点,通过人物的语言和动作塑造人物性格和展开故事情节。小说中象征手法的运用突出了原著的悲剧主题,也增强了文章的生动性和丰富性。
The 19th Century Impressionist Writer Otto Julius Bilbaum’s novel The Beauty of Praise is Adapted from the Story of the Youku Beacon of War in the Historical Vernacular Novels of Eastern Zhou Dynasty in China. Instead of adopting the model of traditional novels, the adapted novels use the plot and the environment to characterize the characters. Instead, the adapted novels adopt the characteristics of the dramatic language and shape the character and the story through the characters’ words and actions. The use of symbolism in the novel highlights the tragedy theme of the original and enhances the vivacity and richness of the article.
