The International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and the FAO Representative Office in China jointly released the “China-FAO Country Programming Framework (2016-2020)” in Beijing on May 31st and identified four priority areas including sustainable agriculture Cooperation. These four priority areas include: promoting sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural development; reducing rural poverty, food insecurity and malnutrition; promoting the “One Health” approach to improving public health; and supporting China in its development of regional and international Agricultural cooperation. Tang Shengyao, deputy director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture, said that during the “13th Five-Year Plan”, China’s agricultural development will still face changes in the agricultural market environment
