On August 31, 2017, LANXESS announced that Tepex dynalite semi-finished products of continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites are entering the automotive interior. A European carmaker adopted the material in the back seat system of its SUVs. The manufacturer installed a load in the middle of the vehicle’s rear seat, enabling independent folding of the seat back.
