江苏省三大区域之间的经济发展差距是显而易见的。数据表明,这些年来,江苏中心—外围模式不但有继续强化的趋势,而且正在朝着双中心—外围模式演变,这也进一步阻碍了江苏三大区域之间的协调发展。苏北地区主动承接产业转移并不能从根本上消除中心—外围模式。解决这个问题更为重要的一点是培育以连云港为核心的经济增长极,通过增长极的打造来带动整个苏北地区、江苏沿海地区甚至是中西部地区的崛起,从根本上消除江苏的中心—外围模式。
The economic development gap between the three major regions in Jiangsu Province is obvious. The data show that over the years, the Jiangsu-periphery model has not only continued to strengthen, but is evolving toward a bicentric-periphery model, which further hinders the coordinated development of Jiangsu’s three major regions. Northern Jiangsu take the initiative to undertake industrial transfer and can not fundamentally eliminate the center - the peripheral mode. The more important point to solve this problem is to cultivate the pole of economic growth with Lianyungang as the core and to promote the rise of the whole of Jiangsu, the coastal areas in Jiangsu and even the central and western regions through the building of a growth pole so as to fundamentally eliminate the center of Jiangsu - Peripheral mode.
