值陈师曾诞辰140周年之际,由中国美术馆主办,故宫博物院、中央美术学院、北京画院、荣宝斋协办的“朽者不朽:中国画走向现代的先行者——陈师曾诞辰140周年特展”于2016年11月11日至12月20日在中国美术馆举办。该展览为中国美术馆“典藏活化”系列展览的重要项目,汇集相关作品两百余件,一方面展现陈师曾对于中国画各个方面推进的传承与创新,另一方面呈现其于书法、印章、诗词以及漫画、画铜、笺画等多方面的综合
