China North Industries Group Corporation’s (CNIGC) subsidiary Liaoning North ChemicalIndustry Company Limited announced that its 200 000 t/a ethylene oxide (EO)/ethyleneglycol (EG) unit in Panjin, Liaoning province produced qualified ethylene oxide on April25th, remarking the official startup of the new unit.The company started trial production of the unit on March 10th. The qualified mono-ethyleneglycol was produced on March 12th, and qualified di-ethylene glycol was got onMarch 15th.
