每当我告诉新认识的朋友,我住在黑芝麻胡同时,总是迎来会心的一笑。因为“黑芝麻”这个胡同名儿,听上去挺亲切,也挺逗。黑芝麻胡同这个名称其实跟黑芝麻无关。胡同的历史可追溯至明代。据传,此胡同内有一位姓何的糊纸马匠,开有“七巧斋”作坊,所以胡同叫何纸马胡同。到清朝末年,后人以其谐音而称为黑芝麻。北京胡同有的因地点得名,有的是因人物得名,还有一类就是黑芝麻胡同这类,是因谐音得名。一个胡同的名称,背后是几百年的时光。
