常州市位居长三角中心地带,总面积4385平方公里,常住人口459.2万人。现辖金坛、溧阳两个县级市和武进、新北、天宁、钟楼、戚墅堰5个行政区,共有建制镇(街道)58个,行政村(居)1130个;乡镇卫生院(社区卫生服务中心)89个,村卫生室(社区卫生服务站)620个。近年来,常州市农村卫生工作按照“保基本、强基层、建机制”的要求,一手抓改革发展,一手抓服务惠民,取得了显著成效:全市新农合连续5年参保率100%,人均筹资标准达305元,政策范围内住院费用补偿比达73.48%;农村卫生服务网络健全率100%,建成乡镇
