肉苁蓉(Cislanche deserticola)是一种生长在我国西北部沙漠地区的寄生被子植物,属列当科肉苁蓉属,它以奇特的寄生方式区别于一般的寄生植物.具有补精益肾和壮阳润肠的作用,医家称它为沙漠的人参.
Cislanche deserticola is a parasitic angiosperm growing in the desert region of northwestern China. It belongs to the genus Cistanche, and it is distinguished from common parasitic plants in a strange parasitism. It has the effect of supplementing lean kidney and aphrodisiac. The medical doctor called it ginseng in the desert.
