Recently, the Russian Ural Locomotive Works developed a new upgrade kit for the T-72M1 main battle tank. The upgrade kit covers the three key technologies of the main battle tank - protection, mobility and firepower. The T-72M1 tank is equipped with an electromagnetic system to prevent attacks by anti-tank mines with magnetic fuses and improve tank survivability.
