国际著名语言学家、语言教育家、汉语音韵学家、《语言科学》编委、美国俄亥俄州立大学东亚语文系教授薛凤生先生,因病医治无效,于北京时间2015年9月7日13时在美国内华达州逝世,享年83岁。薛凤生先生,1931年出生于江苏邳县,1957年毕业于台湾大学外文系,同年复考同校中文研究所,攻读古典文学。1960年获硕士学位。后赴美留学,于美国印第安纳大学专攻理论语言学,1968年获博士学位。留美执教,从
