Objective To observe the changes of heart rate, percutaneous oxygen saturation and symptoms during acute exposure of a school mental health support unit to the plateau (Xi’an - Lhasa) and then to higher altitude (Lhasa - Yangbajing) In order to explore the rationality of maneuvering to provide a scientific basis. Methods Taking the eight members of the mental health support unit of the school as the object, they first flew to Lhasa, then arrived at Yangbajing by car to observe the minimum value of the oxygen saturation, the maximum heart rate and the main complaint in the process of traveling Changes. Results In Lhasa, the minimum value of blood oxygen saturation was not less than 85% and the maximum heart rate was not higher than 126 times / min. In Yangbajing, the minimum value of blood oxygen saturation was not less than 78% and the maximum heart rate was not higher than 129 times / min. In Lhasa and Yangbajing, all the players complained about their physical condition and could perform their duties. Conclusions The reasonableness of this maneuver is discussed from three aspects of oxygen saturation, heart rate and symptoms. It is feasible to adopt the maneuvering method which is first to be exposed to plateau and then to perform tasks in different altitude regions.
