当代艺术中人们向多种领域探寻更多的可能性．如科学、工具．材料、方式等版画的语言也得到了延伸．从单一走向综合．从平面走向立体．从静止走向动态。艺术语言因此得到了丰富．新的手段产生了大量优秀的艺术作品．然而．艺术不能忘记初衷．不是只为追求新奇方式而存在．更不能做技术的“奴隶”．有些优秀的艺术家会借鉴传统的方式、符号或理念作出现代的作品．有不少艺术追随者也开始研究本民族的“传统”。艺术家关注自己民族文化是好的．但是．“直接拿来”的借鉴方式又是愚蠢的,没有反映当代的人类精神的艺术只能是陈旧的．
