新加坡《海峡时报》载文称:中共自中国改革开放以来存在至今不是偶然的。在过去30年里,中共变成越来越开放的政党体制。这就使中共有别于东方集团里倒台前的其他共产主义政党。东欧国家在共产党垮台后选择了西方道路,允许不同利益集团建立了不同政治党派。为避免这种不幸,中共选择了另一条路,它向所有社会和利益群体开放政治过程。由于这个抉择,中国演变成开放式政治体制。
According to the Singapore Straits Times article, it has not been a coincidence that the CCP has existed since China’s reform and opening up. Over the past 30 years, the CCP has become an increasingly open political party system. This made the Chinese communist party different from other communist parties that had fallen in the Eastern bloc. Eastern European countries chose the Western path after the collapse of the Communist Party, allowing different interest groups to establish different political parties. To avoid such misfortune, the CCP has chosen another path, opening up the political process to all social groups and interest groups. Due to this choice, China has evolved into an open political system.
