The English and Chinese languages belong to different language families, and there are huge differences in syntactic structure. This dissertation takes the English translation of “devotion ” in “The Six Books of the Learning School” as the object of study, and Mona Baker in In Other Words- A Coursebook on Translation of the book “tone ” as the theoretical basis for the discovery of the characteristics and frequency of passive voice in the CE translation. That is, active voice is translated into passive voice, which is often used as a translation strategy in Chinese-English to English translation. And passive voice often implies the negative emotion of the speaker, which helps to further understand the use of passive voice in translation. To achieve loyal and smooth translation of the natural effect.
