CED-4是线虫细胞凋亡信号通路上的信号接头分子,具有信号接头和活化CED-3的功能。它的同源类似物Apaf-1在哺乳动物细胞凋亡过程中也具有信号接头分子的作用,可寡聚化并与caspase-9、Bcl-xL形成三元复合物传递细胞凋亡信号。
CED-4 is a signal linker molecule on the signal transduction pathway of C. elegans, which has the function of signal linker and activation of CED-3. Its cognate analogue Apaf-1 also acts as a signal linker molecule in mammalian cell apoptosis, oligomerizing and forming a ternary complex with caspase-9 and Bcl-xL to transmit apoptotic signals.
