随着经济与技术的迅猛发展,现代远程教育无论从广度的扩张,还是深度的挖掘,都呈现着一派勃勃生机。传统高校的网络学院在两年内达到了38所,广播电视大学在过去的20年里,为国家培养高等专科毕业生累计260多万人,中国电视师范学院高等师范专科毕业生55万人。建构了由中央电大、44所省级电大、823所地市级电大(分校)和1766所县级电大(工作站)组成的电大教育系统,这也是世界上最大的现代远程高等教育系统。
With the rapid development of economy and technology, modern distance education has shown great vitality both in breadth and depth. In the past two decades, the number of online colleges of traditional colleges and universities has reached 38, and the radio and television university has accumulated more than 2.6 million college graduates for the country in the past 20 years and 550,000 graduates of higher normal colleges of China Television Normal University. It has constructed a TVET education system consisting of the Central Radio and Television University, 44 provincial TV universities, 823 municipal TVUs (colleges) and 1766 TVUs (workstations) at the county level, which is also the largest modern distance higher education system in the world.
