在国内文学理论界以及比较文学和世界文学研究视域中,(西方)修辞视角历来未能引起学者们的足够重视。究其原因,中西修辞观的差异性,可能是导致修辞视角长期遭致遮蔽的“天然屏障”。由于在中西语境中人们对修辞的理解大异其趣,中西文学批评的修辞视角也相应地有着很大的不同。在西方直到17世纪,文学批评还是隶属于修辞的,修辞批评就是文学批评。西方修辞学与诗学的传统渊源关系表明,修辞学与诗学之间所呈现的是“你中有我,我中有你”的格局。
In the field of domestic literary theory as well as comparative literature and world literature research, the (Western) perspective of rhetoric has never attracted enough attention from scholars. The reason, the difference between Chinese and Western rhetoric, may be caused by the rhetorical perspective has long been obscured “natural barrier ”. Due to the different understanding of rhetoric in Chinese and Western contexts, the rhetorical perspectives of Chinese and Western literary criticism are quite different. In the West until the 17th century, literary criticism still belonged to rhetoric, and rhetorical criticism was literary criticism. The traditional relationship between Western rhetoric and poetics shows that there is a pattern between rhetoric and poetics that “you have me, I have you”.
