形象思维是人在头脑中运用表象来进行的思维。事实证明人类思维的发展首先是从形象思维开始的。例如锯子是由发明家鲁班在一次手被带齿的小草划破后发明的。蒸汽机是由科学家瓦特看到水壶里的水开了,蒸汽掀动水壶的盖,从而发明了蒸汽机。诸多实例说明,形象思维实质上是对日常生活中的事务和现象直观感觉的应用。这种直觉以表象为基础,进行联想与想象,达到创造发明的目的。所以,可以看出形象思维的基本形式包括表象、联想和想象。
Image thinking is the use of appearance in people’s minds to carry out thinking. Facts have proved that the development of human thinking first started from the image of thinking. For example, the saw was invented by the inventor Luban after scratching his toothed grass with a hand. The steam engine was watched by the scientist watt water in the kettle, the steam tilted the kettle lid, thus invented the steam engine. Many examples show that image thinking is essentially an intuitive application of everyday affairs and phenomena. This intuition is based on the appearance, the association and imagination, to achieve the purpose of creating inventions. Therefore, we can see that the basic form of image thinking includes representation, association and imagination.
