分析“五四”时期中国书刊报出版异常繁荣的缘由:政治思潮的蓬勃兴起、思想文化的跃进,经济快速发展、先进分子的倡导与实践、自由宽松的学术环境分别成为“五四”期间书刊报兴盛的前提、核心内涵、物质基础、根本所在、重要保障;民主和科学及社会改造成为这时期书刊报的主要内容,指出新书刊的大量出版利用对于催化新思想、新文化具有重要作用。
