Objective To investigate the application and nursing of patients with gastrointestinal cancer treated by peripheral venipuncture central venous catheter (PICC) combined with disposable micro infusion pump. Methods A total of 100 patients with gastrointestinal cancer who were diagnosed as esophageal cancer and gastric cancer from July 2012 to March 2014 were selected. According to the method of intravenous injection, the patients were divided into observation group (54 cases) and control group (46 cases). Patients in the observation group were treated with PICC with one-off mini-infusion pump, while patients in the control group were treated with ordinary peripheral venipuncture and equipped with disposable micro infusion pump. Observe the incidence of complications in both groups. Results The incidence of phlebitis in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P <0.05), and the pain during the injection was significantly better than that in the control group (P <0.05). The differences of the digestive symptoms and the leukocytes in the two groups after injection No statistical significance (P> 0.05). Conclusion PICC combined with one-time micro-infusion pump in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancer can reduce the stimulation of chemotherapy drugs on blood vessels and reduce discomfort during the infusion of patients and adverse reactions, the effect is significantly better than the traditional common peripheral intravenous infusion, it is worth Promote in clinical nursing.
