休渔期将结束之际,8月9日凌晨,广东省渔政总队中山支队对民众大桥、小榄河道一带进行突击检查,打击违法电鱼行为。近段时间,群众反映上述河道区域有较多违法电鱼行为,记者随行整个突击行动,当晚检查没有发现电鱼船只。不过,在今年休渔期间,已收缴11艘电鱼船;而在上半年的禁渔期,3名非法电鱼者被刑事拘留。
