天然芸苔素是1970年美国学者米切尔首先发现的,他从植物花粉里提取并筛选生物活性物质,制得纯油菜花粉提取物涂于菜豆,4天后观察到菜豆的生长率提高了10倍,这一惊人的增长速度,是科学家们过去发现的任何一种植物生长素所不及的,该提取物被定名为芸苔素。由于天然芸苔素在植物体内含量极低,分离提取十分困难,无奈只得走人工合成的道路,终因提取成本太商无法用于农业,至今尚未实现工业化生产。
Natural brassinolide was first discovered by American scholar Mitchell in 1970. He extracted and screened bioactive substances from plant pollen and obtained pure rape pollen extract applied to kidney bean. After 4 days, the growth rate of kidney bean was observed to be increased by 10 Times, this alarming rate of growth is beyond the reach of any of the auxins scientists have discovered in the past. The extract is named brassinolide. Due to the extremely low content of natural brassinolide in plants, it is very difficult to separate and extract the natural brassinolide. However, it has no alternative but to take the road of artificial synthesis and finally can not be used in agriculture because of the cost of extraction. Therefore, industrial production has not yet been realized.
