Two years ago, several domestic women in Xi’an set up the country’s first woman detective institute privately, arousing intense public concern. Two years later, this non-governmental organization, which is specially called as “the female Sherlock Holmes,” undertook a series of activities to help women compatriots in their husband’s “second mistress” investigation and further expanded their ranks. At the same time, a controversy over this phenomenon has become increasingly fierce. What are the detectives’ actions, whether they have legal basis or not? Are they keeping track of them and violating social morality and violating personal privacy? With so many questions, Not long ago, correspondents interviewed Ms. Wang Lan, the specific organizer of the woman detective agency, and visited the Shaanxi Provincial Women’s Federation, the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, the Civil Affairs Bureau of Xi’an, and the public security and courts. The ordinary people interviewed on the street at random also expressed different views on this phenomenon.
