139例经颅中四切断前庭神经治疗美尼尔氏病的患者,59例术后随访10年,其症状均被控制。患者手术前和术后6个月和10年分别进行听力测试。以500、1000、2000Hz纯音听阈平均值衡量患者听力,100dB者为全聋。术后10年测试之听阈均扣除年龄矫正值。术后眩晕消失共57例(96.6%)。2例术后2～8年因另侧耳蜗病变而致眩晕又发作。经行该侧前庭神经切断术后,眩晕即消失。眩晕消失者中,10例(16.9%)仍诉有头晕或不稳感,但
One hundred and ninety-nine patients with Meniere’s disease who underwent transcranial mid-four transection of the vestibular nerve were followed up for 10 years and their symptoms were controlled. Hearing tests were performed before and 6 and 10 years after surgery. To 500,1000,2000 Hz pure tone hearing threshold average hearing measure, 100dB were all deaf. The hearing thresholds after 10 years of testing were all adjusted for age correction. Postoperative vertigo disappeared in 57 cases (96.6%). 2 cases 2 to 8 years after surgery because of the other side of the cochlear lesions caused by vertigo and attack. After the side of the vestibular nerve cut off, dizziness disappears. Vertigo disappeared, 10 patients (16.9%) still complained of dizziness or instability, but
