为满足柴油机薄壁铸件浇注对铁水质量的要求，常州柴油机厂自行设计了熔化率１０ｔ／ｈ密筋炉胆热风冲天炉。该炉采用两组四排风口、侧面送风，铁水温度＞１４００℃。
