Scalability and complementarity can not co-exist in a pair of adjective antonyms, ie, the two are incompatible. According to this principle, adjective antonyms can be divided into complementary words and anti-word. However, many linguists have noticed that antonym antiversions are not necessarily all non-complementarities, and that there are some adjective-antonyms that are hierarchical and complementary in language. The purpose of this paper is to explore the characteristics of such antonyms. It has been found through research that the antonyms have the same duality as complementary words and the fairness and bias of similar antonyms. However, there is a great difference between its labeling and anti-vocabularies. This article attempts to explore its causes from a cognitive perspective.
