“政府雇员”是吉林省政府根据全局性工作的特殊需要,从社会上雇佣的为政府工作的法律、金融、经贸、信息、高新技术等方面的专门人才。政府雇员不具有行政职务、不行使行政权力、不占用政府行政编制、服务于政府某项工作或某一政府工作部门。雇用合同期限一般为1-3年,其中试用期为3个月。雇员受雇期间,将由省政府负责为雇员办理社会保险,投保费用按照有关规定由政府和雇员本人按比例支付,除此之外,政府不再为雇员提供其他福利待遇。按照吉林省政府出台的相关规定,政府雇员的职别将分为“一般雇员”、“高级雇员”和“资深高级雇员”三种,最高年薪19.8万元。
