论述了网络环境条件下图书馆功能的发展变化,指出无论在传统模式还是在网络模式下,为读者服务都是图书馆的主题。图书馆不仅要将传统的服务方式发扬光大,而且要在服务上不断创新,以使图书馆在信息服务中保持竞争力。
This paper discusses the development and changes of library functions under the condition of network environment and points out that it is the theme of library to serve the readers both in the traditional mode and in the network mode. Libraries should not only carry forward the traditional way of service, but also innovate in service to make the library competitive in information service.
