对于一个学习英语的人来说,什么将会对他的语言理解能力产生影响呢?作者在翻阅了大量的参考资料,同时也结合在教学中的体会之后,逐渐认识到背景知识在英语阅读中起着十分关键的作用。Schema的理论框架中也认为,阅读理解在很大程度上是一种以课文本身为基础,并与背景知识积累相关的学习过程。本文拟通过对背景知识和阅读理解能力关系的讨论,说明背景知识的缺乏对阅读理解能力提高的不利影响,并提出一些相应的解决方法。
For an English-speaking person, what will have an impact on his ability to understand the language? After reading a lot of reference materials, but also combined with the experience of teaching, the author gradually realized that background knowledge in English reading Plays a very crucial role. Schema’s theoretical framework also holds that reading comprehension is largely a learning process that is based on the text itself and related to the accumulation of contextual knowledge. This article intends to discuss the relationship between background knowledge and reading comprehension ability, indicating that the lack of background knowledge has an adverse effect on improving reading comprehension and proposes some corresponding solutions.
