The ancient village is a true portrayal of traditional culture, folk customs and architectural art. It reflects the context of cultural and social development in different historical periods and is a precious historic and cultural heritage. This paper comprehensively analyzes the history of Yanfang Ancient Village, and expounds the unique spatial form of the ancient village by elaborating its mountain-shaped village patterns and the pattern of streets and lanes scattered vertically and horizontally. The last part of the article discusses in detail the architectural art features of the ancient village clan ancestral shrines, traditional houses, and entrance gate.
