不同的民族有着不同的性格特征,人们常常谈及中国人的含蓄、英国人的矜持,法国人的浪漫等等,当然,美国人也拥有其鲜明的性格特征。在进行跨文化交际时,由于语言文化社会等的差异,只有在了解其人民性格的基础上,才能避免误会,有效交流。本文将在前人研究的基础上,深入探析美国人的性格特征,进而分析美国人性格形成的原因以及历史影响。
Different nationalities have different personality traits. People often talk about the implicitness of the Chinese people, British modesty, French romance, and so on. Of course, Americans also have their distinctive personality traits. When conducting intercultural communication, due to differences in languages, cultures and societies, we can avoid misunderstanding and effective communication only on the basis of knowing the people’s personality. On the basis of previous studies, this article explores the personality traits of Americans in depth and analyzes the reasons for the formation of American characters and their historical influence.
