A “Salvation Daily” was an important newspaper that had a widespread influence during the War of Resistance Against Japan. It was founded on August 24, 1937 and serves as the organ of the Shanghai Cultural Salvation Association. Shanghai became an “isolated island” on November 12 and was closed on November 22. On January 1, 1938, it was resumed in Canton, and Guangzhou was suspended after its fall on October 21. On October 10, 1939, he was removed to the Guilin Re-publication for a long time and was persistently banned by the Kuomintang government on March 1, 1941, after the Incident of Southern Anhui. On October 10, 1945, renamed the “Jianguo Daily,” a publication in Shanghai, and was banned by the Kuomintang government on October 24. In its more than two years of existence, the Daily Salvation Press has done a lot of work in stop-and-wait times and ups and downs. The hardships and grudges encountered are rare in the history of modern Chinese newspapers and periodicals.
