On May 17, the reporter learned from the frontline headquarters of the earthquake relief work on May 12 that the earthquake-triggered collapse and landslide blocked the rivers and formed a large number of dammed lakes in the mountains , If not promptly disposed of, will pose a tremendous threat to the rescue and relief forces in the lower reaches of the river and the evacuated and relocated victims. The emergency recommendations of the expert group of the Ministry of Land and Resources should strengthen the monitoring of dammed lakes in the quake-hit areas, pay close attention to the geological movement of the dammed lakes and propose disposal measures to the earthquake relief headquarters as soon as possible, so as to win sufficient time for post-quake rescue work.
