1928年,陈冰心出生在台州市路桥横街,幼时家境贫寒,先就读台州农校,后入省立台州师范美科,1953年毕业于中国美院绘画系本科。1962年,陈冰心创作了一幅大型历史画《江苏人民声援义和团》,表达中国人民抵御外侮自强不息的革命精神。作品在南京博物馆展出,一时吸引成千上万的群众观看。然而,令他始料未及的是,就因为这幅画使他在“十年浩劫”中“获罪”入狱,他那位当教师的妻子也无辜受
In 1928, Chen Bingxin was born in Luqiao Street in Taizhou City. When he was in his infancy, he was first enrolled in Taizhou Agricultural School and later became a teacher in the provincial Taizhou Normal University. He graduated from the Art Department of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts in 1953. In 1962, Chen Bingxin created a large historical painting titled “The Boxers Supportive of Jiangsu People”, expressing the Chinese people’s revolutionary spirit of fighting against foreign aggression. Works on display in the Nanjing Museum, temporarily attracted tens of thousands of people watching. However, what made him unforeseen was that he was jailed for his “Ten Years Holocaust” because of the painting, and his wife, who is a teacher, is also innocent.
