As the saying goes, life is painful. As the Bible states (original sin), the Buddhist scriptures also say (Outright). In fact, not always, pain or not, related to outlook on life, is related to realism or idealism. Some people say that there is not much difference between realism and idealism. The former looks at immediate interests while the latter see long-term interests. No matter in the immediate future, long term worth mentioning, are all interests. I think there is a big difference between the two outlooks on life. Most of the interests of the former schemes involve private interests, and the latter seek almost no personal interest. Therefore, the former gains and losses, painful life, the latter without desire, life happy. Mr. Yang is an idealist.
