中华文化与西方文化之间,因为历史、宗教、政治等种种因素,存在着巨大的差异。资本主义与社会主义,基督教与儒释道,这些种种的不同导致了中西方对对方的文明都有所“误读”。这样的“误读”是不可避免,也是合理存在的。文化误读会造成许多消极影响,同时也可以产生积极影响。我们必须彻底了解“文化误读”产生的根本原因,充分利用“文化误读”的积极影响,消除民族偏见,促进中西方文化互补,共同发展。
There is a huge difference between Chinese culture and Western culture because of various factors such as history, religion and politics. These differences between capitalism and socialism, Christianity and Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism have led both the West and the Chinese to “misread” each other’s civilization. Such “misreading ” is inevitable, it is reasonable to exist. Cultural misreading can have many negative effects, but it can also have a positive impact. We must fully understand the root causes of “cultural misreading” and make full use of the positive influence of “cultural misreading” to eliminate ethnic prejudices and promote the mutual supplement and common development of Chinese and Western cultures.
