“中国人民大学书报资料社”的前身,是剪报资料图书卡片社(简称“报卡社”)。它是一个为全国教学、科研单位服务的事业单位,早在文化大革命前就存在好几年了。当时编辑的出版物有复印报刊资料,图书提要卡片,学术资料卡片、新书情报以及各种社会科学问题专辑。文化大革命中,林彪、“四人帮”到处挥舞“黑线专政论”的大棒,使该社整整被迫停办达十二年之久。
“Renmin University of China Newspaper Information Society,” the predecessor of the clippings information book card agency (referred to as “press card agency”). It is a public service institution serving teaching and research institutions throughout the country, which existed for several years before the Cultural Revolution. At the time of editing, there were copies of newspapers and periodicals, book synopsis cards, academic information cards, new book information and various social science albums. During the Cultural Revolution, Lin Biao and the Gang of Four wiped out the big stick of “black line dictatorship,” so that the entire party was forced to stop for 12 years.
