《工会法》的重新修改和颁布施行,是我国民主与法制建设中的一件大事。学习贯彻好这一重要法律,对于进一步落实“三个代表”重要思想和党的全心全意依靠工人阶级的根本指导方针,充分发挥工会作为党密切联系职工群众的桥梁纽带作用、国家政权的重要社会支柱作用和职工合法权益代表者维护者的作用,具有十分重大的意义。为了帮助广大职工和工会干部学好、用好《工会法》,解决学习、贯彻中遇到的实际问题,本刊从今年第一期起,连续刊登《〈工会法〉基础知识问答》,请全总法律工作部的同志有针对性地回答基层读者提出的问题。———编者
