我国高师美术专业办学模式不能与社会用人环境接轨,很难适应社会发展对美术人才的要求。本文从高等师范院校建立地方民间美术专业的依据,民间美术具有群众性、地域性、民族性特点的专业发展方向及民间美术是融学术性、创造性、实践性为一体的适合学生发展和接受的方向等诸方面论证了在高师美术教育中设立地方民间美术专业的必要。
