清华大学图书馆旧馆于1919年及1931年分两次建成,面积7700平方米,其规模已远不能适应今天师生阅览及藏书的需要,急需建设新馆。现新馆建筑方案已经确定,正进行深入的设计之中。
The old building of the Tsinghua University Library was built twice in 1919 and 1931 with an area of 7,700 square meters. Its scale is far from meeting the needs of today’s teachers and students to read and collect books, and it is urgent to build a new museum. The new building construction plan has been established and is undergoing in-depth design.
