中国共产党的十七大号召要继续加强党的执政能力建设,而党的执政能力与中国共产党的现代化是分不开的,中国共产党的十一届三中全会开启了新时期党的现代化的进程。在十一届三中全已经召开三十年的今天,回顾其对于党在新时期现代化的影响和推动作用,有利于党以史为鉴,推动党的现代化,进而加强党的执政能力建设。
