东乡县在不久前收集到一方古砚,经鉴定,确系宋徽宗赵佶赐给大书法家米芾的御用端砚,是一件传世将历千年的珍贵文物。 砚高9厘米,长23厘米,宽14.5厘米,重达16.5市斤。石质极佳,颜色呈青中透紫,微露云雾状,诚为端石中罕有之物。砚池额上镌有篆书“御赐之宝”四字,砚的上下左右四侧各浮雕一龙,造型古朴生动,张鳞奋爪,似欲飞去,信为皇帝用品。砚台底面刻有米芾署名的跋文,笔势凝重而飘逸,气度雍容,可惜略有漫漶。跋文八行,因系行书,每行字数不一,多者二十一字,少者十七字,原文照录于下:
