Current Status of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Thailand Since the Thai Ministry of Health announced the legalization of traditional Chinese medicine in July 2000, there are currently 114 Chinese doctors who have completed legal registration. In the future, they will gradually increase the number of registered Chinese medical practitioners in accordance with regulatory requirements. The Chinese medicine treatment business is mainly based on acupuncture and moxibustion, and there are relatively few other treatments. The medical institutions of Chinese medicine mainly include: Overseas Chinese Chinese Medicine Hospital (Reporting Deshantang Charity Hospital), Dongfang Medical Culture Institute (Jundun Hospital), and Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
