Amorphous carbon film was deposited on thin-film magneticrecording disk and tape by RF glow discharge decpmposition of methane.Thewear and corrosion resistances of the coated media were improved withoutany deterioration of magnetic performance.
Amorphous carbon film was deposited on thin-film magnetic recording disk and tape by RF glow discharge decpmposition of methane. The wear and corrosion resistances of the coated media were improved without the deterioration of magnetic performance.
