The commercial Profiler Plus and Cofiler Amplification Assay kits were used for paternity testing and analysis of unrelated individual blood samples. 186 cases of paternity test, the mother - son - hypothetical triplet 149 cases, assuming the father - son duplex 37 cases. Of the 149 cases with both parents and children, 127 were identified as having a natural blood relationship, with an average RCP value of 99.98%. The remaining 22 cases excluded the father who was the father of the child, with an exclusion rate of 14.77% and an average of 6.1. Among the 37 cases with single parents and children, 23 cases were found to have a natural blood relationship with an average RCP value of 99.92%. The remaining 14 cases excluded the father as the child’s father, with an exclusion rate of 37.84% and an average of 5 cases Anastomosed STR sites appear. If the mothers in the triad case were deliberately omitted and counted as single-parent cases, only the RCP value was 99.1959% when only the 9 STR loci of the Profiler Plus system were tested, and 21.51% of the cases would not be able to draw a clear Conclusion. While detecting a total of 13 STR loci in the Profiler Plus and Cofiler systems, 97.31% of the cases could exclude or identify the biological father, and 2.69% of the cases could exclude or identify the biological father by supplementing the mother’s sample. The cumulative exclusion rate of 6 STR loci in Cofiler system was 0.9825. The above data show that Cofiler kit has important application value in single-parent identification cases.
