高中的逐步普及化要求学校给学生发展提供更多的选择空间;高等教育大众化引致高等学校分化为研究型大学、应用型院校和职业性高职院校,而现行高考对此的适应性和有效性严重降低,这要求我国对高考内容进行改革。针对我国实际情况,高考内容应实行分类设置,兼具反映知识能力“水平差异”和“类型差异”的双重功能,并加强针对研究型大学所要求的思维品质和潜能的考查。
